Client Problem:
A local airport operator seek us out to create a fully automated dashboard using Excel VBA. The airport operator collects customer satisfaction surveys using iPads and the results are stored in an Oracle database. They run weekly management reports to monitor the results to management. The process was repetitive and laborious taking about 2 hours to create.
Our Solution:
After understanding their report logic, we created an Excel VBA application to automatically extract data from the Oracle database everyday and churned out a dashboard that emails PDF reports to various stakeholders at scheduled times. This self automated solution completely saved them human effort to create timely daily reports.
